Organisers of this years Carols by the Sea - the family Carols concert have announced this year's concert will have the theme "Tonga around the Globe" and will include special guest appearances from Tonga's large global expatriate community.
The charity event, which raised over $5000 for the Tongan Red Cross last year and will this year be raising much needed funds for Breast Cancer Awareness, will take place at the Royal Property of Pangai Lahi, downtown Nuku'alofa on the 11th of December.
After a hugely successful event last year, which included a cast of over 100 performers and which was attended by His Majesty King George Tupou V, organisers are hoping the event will become a mainstay in the Tongan calendar and have this year publicise the event abroad in the hope of attracting both Tongans and visitors from overseas to come and experience a real Polynesian Christmas.
